Perfect place for family camping, big sites on grass (for tents or camper-trailers) or bitumen (good handstand for caravans and vehicles).Great vibe, green grass for the kids to play on, clean ablutions, camp kitchen and only about 20 or so sites available, so it's nice and relaxed.A volunteer camp guide runs the site, but need to book before hand to get a spot.Go there - it's awesome

If you are camping this is a must do NP camp ground. Just make sure you book on line in advance. Affordable, clean and tidy. Hot showers and toilets cleaned every day by on site caretakers. Central to all you need to do and more.

We got here quite late and were pleasantly surprised to find the camp guides still up and pleased to see us. Lovely unpowered quiet campground just north of Perth - our ideal first stop in the way north after arriving from overseas in the afternoon. An easy walk to the nearby pub / restaurant. Very spacious sites - quiet and private.

10/10 about the camping and facilities. You can see the pictures; is a great spot with lot of green space, nature, cangaroos, hot water, electricity points at the shelter, barbaque area with tables, areas to clean dishes, big private camping area (unless you book the one not suitable for tent that is a parking), toilets and showers. So why 1 star?I was expecting here LOTS of comments about the host, but i am surprised that there are only 2 or 3 about him.It is a pity that such a beautiful place is hosted by such a bully person. Since the day we arrived he was kind of rude at the entrance but we didnt mind. But every day he chase us to say something, pointing us as for every thing he doesnt like. If the barbaque was dirty, if the doors of the toilette were open, if people leave things in the shelter. I know that he keeps the camping as it is, clean and tidy; but you dont have to treat the people as criminals. Also he was mad because we book for more than 7 days (8 days) but in the website it doesnt say that you can only stay 1 week.I hope that everyone who stay at the camping put a review on him, so we can see if he has any particular -phobia.That was our experience. Hope he can enjoy what he is doing, because the place is beautiful

Great little campground with nice amenities (hot showers, nice kitchen and dining area). We had two stays, one in a sandy bay and one in the former car park (tarmac). Only slight downside to the car park area was walk to toilet in the morning. Otherwise really pleasant spot - felt very peaceful, good vegetation and trees (offering shade at different times of day). Highly recommend if passing through Perth and NP itself is nice. Aldi and Woolworths down the road if you need to stick up before leaving Perth!! The Kangaroos in the morning and evening at the camp and around Yanchep Inn are lovely to watch also. We also had a fantastic host couple too who were super friendly. Tony even did a camp astronomy evening one night - brilliant for kids and parents!

Even though our tour are completed, this as one of the best park we stayed over, the kangaroo jumped all around us, as long as we don't do sudden move or go near the young ones, they are generally curious about us while we them. The place is very peaceful, toilet is a little dirty but it's not the fault of care taker but other user, decent open air cooking and eating place (not so suitable in winter) but you eat and enjoy the kangaroo around. Big enough park for a good stroll and see one or two koalas. There is a bar/pub nearby but not too near to cause any noise, we had a very nice sleep (even though we are on campervan) and woke up to kangaroo near us munching on the grass. It's so natural.Highly recommended to those tourist who come Australia to camp and see the roos and live with nature. Especially Asians like me.Tips : Try to get the spot near the toilet and facilities for convenience, far away if you prefer quiet.

Lovely spot in the National Park. Good facilities, very clean. Hosts were very accomodating. Hard stand sites were great. Nice and big. There is an abundance of wildlife that hardly notices you are there. Inn and chocolate place is a must do.

Perfect place. We were there for 2 nights. The sanitary facilities were very good. The host's gave us extra detailed information about the southwest and wrote out good places for us. Very nice!
